General Terms & Conditions

Please note that these T&Cs will be incorporated into any Physical Contract we may execute with You in future and will be enforceable against You to the same extent as the terms of the Physical Contract. Therefore, we request You to please read these T&Cs carefully before clicking on the “Terms and Conditions” checkbox.

This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures. This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media ethics Code) Rules, 2021 that provide for the due diligence to be exercised by the Website.

Appnit Technologies Private Limited (“Oxymoney” “We/we” or “Us/us”,) has been authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) to issue and operate in Prepaid Payment Instruments (“PPI(s)”). Oxymoney has its registered office situated at Appnit Technologies Private Limited, Unit No 11A, Stellar Okas 1425, Sector-142, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

DISCLAIMER

You expressly agree that use of the Services on the Platform is at Your sole risk. It is Your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all opinions, advice, services, merchandise and other information provided through the Platform or on the Internet generally.

Except as expressly set forth in these terms, Oxymoney expressly disclaims any other warranty with respect to the use of the Platform or the Services or any content or information delivered or sent through the services to you. The services are provided without any express or implied guarantee or assurance of quality, reliability of the information delivered through the services. Oxymoney disclaims all express and implied warranties with regard to the services. Oxymoney does not warrant or guarantee that the use of the services will not cause any damages to your mobile phone, computer/ laptop and any other compatible device or to any other services provided to your mobile phone, computer/laptop and any other compatible device or website and content that reside on your mobile phone, computer/laptop and any other compatible device. You agree and acknowledge that the use, and access of the services is entirely, or at the maximum permitted by the applicable law, at your own risk.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to be bound by (or cannot comply with) any of the terms below, please leave the Website immediately and terminate your account with us.

DEFINITIONS

    1. “PPI Issuer” shall mean Oxymoney, i.e., the issuer of PPI Wallet & Cards.
    2. “PPI Wallet/ Card” is a Prepaid Payment Instrument issued to a PPI Holder/ Customer and maintained by Oxymoney for the purpose of usage of the PPI Wallet/ Card as per the Terms contained herein. The word “PPI(s)/ PPI” shall have the same meaning as PPI Wallet/ Card.
    3. “PPI Holder(s) / Customer(s)” shall mean the holder of the PPI Wallet/ Card, in whose name the account is opened by Oxymoney and who is authorized to perform transaction(s) as per the Terms mentioned herein. The words, “Yours/ yours”, “Him/ him”, “His/ his”, “You/ you”, “End User”, “Holders” and “Customer” shall have the same meaning as PPI Holder and shall include both singular and plural. Reference to masculine shall include the feminine and third gender. The terms may be accepted by individuals or entities/ non individuals such as corporate, partnership firms etc. and the terms within the document need to be construed accordingly irrespective of the usage herein.
  • “Platform” shall mean the Website/ Network/ App/ Portal/ APIs of Oxymoney.

GENERAL AGREEMENT WITH OXYMONEY

  1. Oxymoney is authorised by the Reserve Bank of India to issue and operate in PPIs to Customers on which they can load and transfer funds, to make purchases of goods and services and to use product/ services, which may include services such as recharge or bill payments, money transfer services, UPI services, Card services or any other services that may be offered by Oxymoney through PPI. For the purpose of availing the Services, You will be required to register Yourself upon providing certain information. Upon verification and successful registration, Your user account (“User Account”) will get created in the form of a mobile wallet through which You will be able to avail the Services. These Services are offered by Oxymoney on its Platform and You acknowledge that you will be bound by this Agreement for availing any of the Services offered by us. Your access to use of the Platform and the Services will be solely at the discretion of Oxymoney.

The information provided on the Platform is not professional advice and must not be considered as such. Your use of information provided on the Platform is solely at your own risk. You give consent to Oxymoney to collect Know your Customer (“KYC”) documents as per regulatory or statutory requirements or through customer agencies on your behalf.

    1. By registering for or using our Platform and using the Services, You as the End User agree to be bound by these terms, including any additional guidelines and/or future modifications to these terms and the various products/ services offered by Oxymoney shall be governed by these terms.
    2. You agree and acknowledge that the access and use of the Services by You is voluntary and of Your own accord, and that the Terms shall be binding on You, for access and use of the Services, in India (“Territory”). Your access and use of the Services shall be subject to the applicable laws, rules and regulations in force in the Territory, and as may be amended from time to time (“Applicable Laws”).
    3. Your act of accessing and using the Services, shall be deemed to be Your absolute agreement to these Terms and Privacy Policy (defined below) of Oxymoney as prescribed from time to time.
    4. We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time without giving you any prior notice. Your use of the Website following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms as modified. Any additional terms and conditions, disclaimers, privacy policies and other policies applicable in general and/ or to specific areas of this Website or to particular Service are also considered as Terms.
    5. Reference to any statute, ordinance or other law includes all regulations and other instruments and all consolidations, amendments, re-enactments or replacements for the time being in force. All headings, bold typing and italics (if any) have been inserted for convenience of reference only and do not define limit or affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms.

APPROVAL OF TERMS

  1. By using the Website and its Services, you agree that you have read and understood these Terms and you agree to be bound by these Terms and use the Services in compliance with these Terms. The information that you obtain or receive from Oxymoney, its Team, Partners, or otherwise on the Website is for informational and scheduling purposes only.
  2. You can accept the Terms by:
    1. Using the Website; or
    2. By actually using the Services. In this case, you understand and agree that Oxymoney will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of the Terms from that point onwards.
  3. For being a valid User you must satisfy the following conditions:
    1. You are of legal age to form a binding contract with Oxymoney; or
    2. You are not a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of India or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the services.
  4. You give consent to Oxymoney to collect KYC documents from PSUs and Government agencies on Your behalf.
  5. You provide Your consent to Oxymoney to share the following personal information with its authorized third-party service provider(s) for the purpose of address verification and kyc verification, not limited to:
    1. Name
    2. Gender
    3. Phone Number
    4. District
    5. Address
    6. Aadhar number
    7. PAN

USE OF SERVICES AND INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE

  1. In order to access certain Services, You may be required to provide information about Yourself (such as identification, contact or payment details) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of Your continued use of the Services. You agree that any registration information You give to us will always be true, accurate, correct, complete and up to date. Any phone number used to register with the Website needs to be registered in Your name and You might be asked to provide supporting documents to prove the same.
  2. In terms of Information and Technology Act,2000 read with Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Oxymoney securely transmits and saves your data including but not limiting to the interactions done by the User on the Oxymoney App, to Our secure servers. The same enables Oxymoney to not only serve its Users with better offers but also with reminders and notifications for activities more in-line for Users interests.
  3. Information provided by Oxymoney or otherwise obtained from the Website will not be used for any unauthorized and unlawful purposes;
  4. You agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services by any means other than through the interface that is provided by Oxymoney, unless You have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate agreement with us;
  5. You agree that You will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services);
  6. You agree that You will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, transfer, license, rent, sell, trade or resell the information obtained from the Website for any purpose whatsoever;
  7. You agree that You are solely responsible for (and that Oxymoney has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of Your obligations under the Terms and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which Oxymoney may suffer) of any such breach.
  8. You will not impersonate another person, including, without limitation, a Holder or a Merchant.
  9. You agree to the use of Your data in accordance with Oxymoney’s Privacy Policy.
  10. All personal and contact information provided by You will be kept confidential by Oxymoney. This includes Your personal information given in relation to Your account creation and subsequent administration.

CONDITIONS OF USE

  1. The Platform and the Services are not available anyone previously suspended or removed from the Services by Oxymoney. By accepting these Terms and/or by using the Platform or Services, You represent that You have not been previously suspended or removed by Oxymoney, or disqualified for any other reason, from availing the Oxymoney Services or using the Oxymoney Platform. In addition, You represent and warrant that You have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all the Terms as part of this Agreement. Finally, You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent Your identity, age or affiliation with any person or entity. In the event of any violation of the Terms, Oxymoney reserves the right to suspend or permanently prevent You from availing Oxymoney Services or using the Oxymoney Platform.
  2. The Platform and the Services here under are currently made available to You for Your personal and non-commercial use. Oxymoney reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Platform and the Services, provided to You in accordance with these Terms, at any time and for any reason.
  3. You acknowledge that the terms of agreement with Your respective telecom or internet service provider will continue to apply when using the Services. As a result, You may be charged by the respective telecom or internet service provider for access to network connection services for the duration of the connection while accessing the Platform and the Services or any such third party charges as may arise. You accept responsibility for any such charges that arise, and shall not claim the same from Oxymoney or dispute the same.
  4. If you are not the bill payer for the internet services provided by the telecom operator/internet service provider being used to access the Services, You will be assumed to have received permission from the bill payer for using the Services.
  5. You are solely responsible for Your use of the Services. Oxymoney does not create, monitor, examine or inspect the content delivered to You through the Services, if any. Such content may include links to third-party websites and content. The linked content is not under Oxymoney’s control and Oxymoney is not responsible whatsoever for the content of any such linked content. The content does not represent or reflect any advice, views, opinions or beliefs of Oxymoney. Further, You are advised to lodge a complaint on website regarding any un-authorized transaction from your PPI Wallet/ Card.
  6. You must only use the Services and anything available via the Services for lawful purposes (complying with all Applicable Laws), in a responsible manner, and not in a way that might damage Oxymoney’s name or reputation or that of any of Oxymoney’s affiliates or service providers. You agree and acknowledge that the use of the information delivered to You through the Services is Your sole responsibility and that Oxymoney shall not at any time be held responsible for any unlawful usage of the information secured through the Services, by You.
  7. You may find advertising or other content delivered with the use of Services that link to the sites and mobile applications and services of Oxymoney’s partners, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties and service providers. Oxymoney does not control the content, advertisement or links that appear through the Services and are not responsible for the practices employed by those websites and mobile applications linked to or from the Services. In addition, these sites and mobile applications or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and mobile applications and services may have their own terms of use and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, advertisements and mobile applications which have a link in the Services, is subject to that website’s, advertisements and mobile applications own terms and policies. 
  8. You will not, nor allow third parties on Your behalf to make and distribute copies of the Platform, attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, transfer, exchange or translate the Platform; or create derivative works of the Platform of any kind whatsoever.
  9. In order to access certain Services, You may be required to provide information about Yourself (such as identification, contact or payment details) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of Your continued use of the Services. You agree that any registration information You give to Us will always be true, accurate, correct, complete and up to date. Any phone number used to register with the Platform needs to be registered in Your name and You might be asked to provide supporting documents to prove the same.
  10. You shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share any information that:
    1. belongs to another person and to which You do not have any right to;
    2. is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever; or unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing including but not limited to “indecent representation of women” within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986;
    3. harm minors in any way;
    4. infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights or third party’s trade secrets or rights of publicity or privacy or shall not be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items;
    5. violates any law for the time being in force;
    6. deceives or misleads the addressee/ users about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;
    7. impersonate another person;
    8. contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; or contains any Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, easter eggs or other computer programming routines that may damage, detrimentally interfere with, diminish value of, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information;
    9. threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other nation;
    10. shall not be false, inaccurate or misleading.

PRIVACY PROTECTION

  1. Oxymoney’s Privacy Policy explains how We treat Your personal data and protect Your privacy when You use Our Services. By using Our services, You agree that Oxymoney can use such data in accordance with Our policies.
  2. You agree and understand that You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account You use to access the Services.
  3. You agree that You will be solely responsible to Oxymoney for all activities that occur under Your account.
  4. If You become aware of any unauthorized use of Your OTP or of Your account, You agree to notify Us immediately through Oxymoney customer care email or phone call.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

  1. The Services may include links to other websites. Some of these websites may contain materials that are unlawful, or inaccurate. These links are provided for your convenience only and the provision of these links does not mean that We endorse these websites or the products and services they provide. You acknowledge and agree that We are not responsible or liable for the content or accuracy of these other websites.
  2. You will note that the URL to every webpage on Our Website begins with “https://”. In other words, every webpage on our Website is hypertext transfer protocol secure (“HTTPS Enabled”) or “identity verified”.
  3. We have had our entire Website HTTPS Enabled to better protect your security against dummy websites. Please verify that a webpage is HTTPS Enabled before providing any information on it. We will not be liable for any consequences of you providing details on any third party website, including dummy websites.

NO WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATION

  1. The interface/Website is provided subject to all of the terms set forth in the Terms.
  2. Oxymoney disclaims all warranties whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
    1. That our Website will always function without disruptions, delay, timely, secure or errors-free manner. A number of factors may impact the quality of your communications and use of the Website and may result in the failure of Your communications including but not limited to: Your local network, firewall, Your internet service provider, the public internet, the public switched mobile network, private switched mobile networks and Your power supply. We take no responsibility for any disruption, interruption or delay caused by any failure of or inadequacy in any of these items or any other items over which We have no control;
    2. Your ability to use the Service through the Website;
    3. Your satisfaction with the Service or the Website;
    4. Security and privacy of Your data;
    5. That bugs or errors in the Service and/or Website will be corrected;
    6. That our Services will be compatible with all broadband services and modems and We disclaim any express or implied warranties regarding the compatibility of our Service with any particular broadband service or modems;
    7. We make no express or implied representations or warranties about our Services or the Website and disclaim any implied warranties, including, but not limited to, warranties or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use or non-infringement. We do not authorize anyone to make a warranty on Our behalf and You may not rely on any statement of warranty as a warranty by Us; and
    8. That Our Team who furnishes Services to You in connection with this Agreement or the Service will be liable for any act or omission in relation to the Website.
    9. Oxymoney cannot and does not guarantee that the Platform and/or Services will be free from viruses and/or other code that may have contaminating or destructive elements. It is Your responsibility to implement appropriate security safeguards (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements as to the safety and reliability of the system.
    10. The Oxymoney Services and the Platform and any data, information, third party software, reference sites, services, or software made available in conjunction with or through the services and the site are provided on an “as is” and “as available,” “with all faults” basis and without warranties or representation of any kind either express or implied.
    11. You understand and agree that You use, access, download, or otherwise obtain information, materials, or data through the Platform or any reference sites/platforms/apps/services at Your own discretion and risk and that You will be solely responsible for any damage to Your property (including Your computer system and mobile device or any other equipment) or loss of data that results from the download or use of such material or data.
    12. Oxymoney will be entitled to use, subject to its Privacy Policy, any information supplied by you during the course of accessing and using the services.
    13. We do not authorize anyone to make any warranty on our behalf and You should not rely on any such statement. This paragraph shall survive termination of this Agreement. In no event will Oxymoney be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of programs or information, and the like) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Platform.

RESTRICTIONS ON USE

  1. In addition to all Terms of this Agreement, you shall not:
  2. Use the third party links to sites without agreeing to their website terms & conditions;
  3. Post links to third party websites or use their logo, company name, etc. without their prior written permission; or
  4. Use the Services for spamming and other illegal purposes.

TERMINATION OF SERVICES

  1. Your account may be disabled and Services may be terminated based upon the representations made by you. Any of the following actions may result in termination of Services:
    1. Impersonating another person or entity with the effect of misleading users about the identity of the creator of content (including misleading account user names, voices and sounds used in broadcasts, and account profile information);
    2. Impersonating the Services or a Oxymoney Team member;
    3. Representing that content you post or transmit through the Services is created or endorsed by us;
    4. Providing or sending any content which may be harmful or detrimental to Oxymoney or its business associates, or which violates any restriction or policy established by Oxymoney or its business associates;
    5. Submission of any content that falsely expresses or implies that such content is sponsored or endorsed by us;
    6. Falsification or deletion of any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is posted;
    7. Putting on Oxymoney’s system any content that contains software viruses, trojan horses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
    8. Manipulating Service identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted via the Services;
    9. Collecting or storing personal data about other users;
    10. Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobeying any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
    11. Using any robot, spider, website search/retrieval application, or other device to retrieve or index any portion of the Service or collect information about users for any unauthorized purpose; or
    12. Creating user accounts by automated means or under false or fraudulent pretences.
  2. Notwithstanding any remedies that may be available under any Applicable Law, Oxymoney may temporarily or permanently deny, limit, suspend, or terminate the Services provided to You, if Oxymoney believes that in addition to the above disqualifications: (a) You have abused Your rights to use the Services; or (b) You are in breach of this Terms or Privacy Policy; or, (c) You have performed any act or omission that violates any Applicable Law, rules, or regulations; or, (d) You have performed any act or omission which is harmful or likely to be harmful to Oxymoney, or any other third party, including other users or suppliers of Oxymoney or the service providers; or, (e) You made use of the Services to perform an illegal act, or for the purpose of enabling, facilitating, assisting or inducing the performance of such an act; or, (f) You made any confidential and/or proprietary information pertaining to the Oxymoney and/or the Services public without the prior written consent of Oxymoney. You agree that notwithstanding the termination, Oxymoney will continue to be entitled to use the information supplied by You or collected from You during the use and access of the Services by You.

SPAMMING

You shall not use contact information provided by us or other users or harvest such information for the purpose of sending, or to facilitate the sending, of unsolicited bulk communications such as spam. You shall not allow others to use your account to violate the terms of this section. We may terminate your membership or access to the Website immediately and take other legal action if You or anyone using Your credentials violates these provisions.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold Oxymoney, the licensors, business partners of Oxymoney or the service providers and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, sub-contractors, agents, parent companies, sister companies, subsidiaries and other affiliates, indemnified and harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Your use of the Platform or Services, any unauthorised use of the Platform or Services by You, Your violation of these Terms, or Your violation of any rights including rights in any form of intellectual property of any third party and/or any violation of applicable law by You.

PROPRIETARY RIGHTS, LICENCE AND CONFIDENTIALITY

  1. Intellectual Property Rights for the purpose of this Terms shall include and not limited to copyrights whether registered or not, patents including rights of filing patents, trademarks, trade names, trade dresses, house marks, collective marks, associate marks and the right to register them, designs both industrial and layout, geographical indicators, moral rights, broadcasting rights, displaying rights, distribution rights, selling rights, abridged rights, translating rights, reproducing rights, performing rights, communicating rights, adapting rights, circulating rights, protected rights, joint rights, reciprocating rights and infringement rights.
  2. All trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature in the Platform and Services, any name, mark or logo related to Oxymoney and/or the Services are owned either directly by Oxymoney or Oxymoney’s licensors. You should not adapt or use otherwise any name, mark or logo that is identical, or confusingly similar to any of these marks and logos. You agree and acknowledge that the access and use of the Services and Platform shall not be construed to confer on You any rights of any nature including rights in any form of intellectual property contained in the Services and/or Platform or related to Oxymoney. If in the course of accessing and using the Services or Platform, You even unintentionally infringe the rights including rights in any form of intellectual property of Oxymoney or Oxymoney’s licensors in the Services, You shall immediately cease and desist any such use.
  3. You agree and confirm that You shall not at any time reveal or make public any and all proprietary and/or confidential information relating to Oxymoney, its business, the Services, that You may gain access to during the course of accessing and using the Services. Except as expressly authorized by Oxymoney, You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the content comprised in the Platform or Services, in whole or in part.
  4. All material on this Platform and as part of the Services, including images, illustrations, audio clips, and video clips, are protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights of Oxymoney. Material on Platform is solely for Your personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute such material in any way, including by email or other electronic means and whether directly or indirectly and You must not assist any other person to do so. Without the prior written consent of the owner, modification of the materials, use of the materials on any other platform or networked computer environment or use of the materials for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is a violation of the copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary rights, and is prohibited.

PPI WALLET/ CARD FEATURES:

Small PPIs (or Minimum-detail PPIs)

  1. Oxymoney shall issue such PPIs after obtaining minimum details of the PPI holder;
  2. Minimum details shall necessarily include a mobile number verified with One Time Password (OTP) and a self-declaration of name and unique identity / identification number of any ‘mandatory document’ or ‘Officially Valid Document (OVD)’ or any such document with any name listed for this purpose in the Master Direction on KYC, as amended from time to time;
  3. These small -kyc PPIs shall be reloadable in nature;
  4. Amount loaded in such PPIs during any month shall not exceed Rs.10,000/- and the total amount loaded during the financial year shall not exceed Rs.1,20,000/;
  5. Total amount debited from such PPIs during any month shall not exceed Rs.10,000/;
  6. These PPIs shall be used only for purchase of goods and services. 
  7. Cash withdrawal or funds transfer from such PPIs shall not be permitted;
  8. There shall be no separate limit for purchase of goods and services using PPIs; PPI issuer may decide limit for these purposes within the overall PPI limit;
  9. These PPIs shall be converted into full-KYC PPIs within a period of 24 months from the date of issue of the PPI, failing which no further credit shall be allowed in such PPIs. However, the PPI holder shall be allowed to use the balance available in the PPI;
  10. This category of PPI shall not be issued to the same user in future using the same mobile number and same minimum details;
  11. PPI issuer shall give an option to close the PPI at any time. The closure proceeds can be transferred ‘back to source account’ (payment source from where the PPI was loaded). Alternatively, the closure proceeds can be transferred to a bank account after complying with KYC requirements of PPI holder; 

Full-KYC PPIs

  1. Oxymoney is permitted to issue Full KYC PPIs after completing KYC of the PPI holder;
  2. Such PPIs is reloadable in nature;
  3. The amount outstanding shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- at any point of time;
  4. The funds can be transferred ‘back to source account’ (payment source from where the PPI was loaded) or ‘own bank account of the PPI holder .
  5. Oxymoney provides the facility to ‘pre-register beneficiaries’.
  6. In case of such pre-registered beneficiaries, the funds transfer limit shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per month per beneficiary.
  7. Funds transfer limits for all other cases shall be restricted to Rs.10,000/- per month;
  8. Funds transfer from such PPIs shall also be permitted to other PPIs, debit cards and credit cards as per the limits given above;
  9. There is no separate limit on purchase of goods and services using PPIs.
  10. Company shall be clearly indicating these limits to the PPI holders and provide necessary options to PPI holders to set their own fund transfer limits;
  11. Company shall also give an option to close the PPI and transfer the balance as per the applicable limits of this type of PPI. For this purpose, the issuer shall provide an option, including at the time of issuing the PPI, to the holder to provide details of pre-designated bank account or other PPIs of same issuer (or other issuer as and when permitted) to which the balance amount available in the PPI shall be transferred in the event of closure of PPI, expiry of validity period of such PPIs, etc.;
  12. Cash withdrawal shall be permitted upto a maximum limit of Rs.2,000/- per transaction within an overall monthly limit of Rs.10,000/- per PPI across all channels (agents, ATMs, PoS devices, etc.); 
  13. Features of such PPIs shall be clearly communicated to the PPI holder by SMS / e-mail / any other means at the time of issuance of the PPI / before the first loading of funds.

CONDITIONS OF USE SPECIFIC TO THE SERVICES

  1. You agree and acknowledge the following:
  2. You are solely responsible for providing/entering the correct information (name, phone number, email address, home address, Date of Birth, Gender etc.);
  3. Oxymoney is not responsible for faulty internet connection or electricity failure or any other problem on Your side while availing the Services;
  4. Oxymoney shall not in any way be liable for any delay, disruption or defects in the online payment facility provided by any financial institution/bank/payment gateway service provider. You acknowledge that You assume all the risks involved in using the online payment facility provided by the financial institution/bank/payment gateway service providers and Oxymoney shall not be in any way liable for any damage, loss, expense, liability or detriment caused (directly or indirectly) by a defect in said online payment facility.
  5. The amount outstanding in PPI shall not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- at any point of time. However, cash loading to PPI shall be limited to Rs. 50,000/- per month, subject to overall limit as aforesaid.
  6. PPI can be loaded / reloaded by cash & other modes through agent assisted model. However, transaction may be enabled through Oxymoney’s App/ Portal.
  7. PPI issued by Oxymoney shall have a validity period of three (3) years from (i) the date of issuance of the PPI; (ii) the date of last loading/reloading in the said PPI or (iii) last utilization of the PPI, whichever is later. After the expiry of said validity period, Your PPI shall get expired and You will be intimated accordingly. There shall be Re – KYC, after the expiry of said validity period, for all the Customers. Further there shall be mandatory Re-KYC of Customers whenever there is any major changes in the product offering by Oxymoney.
  8. In case You approach Oxymoney for refund of any outstanding amount, in the expired PPI, at any time after the date of expiry of validity period of PPI, then such amount shall be paid to You in Your bank account after due verification by Oxymoney in accordance with the KYC requirements.
  9. You can contact our customer care for the same at grievance@oxymoney.com. The Customer can also call the Company’s customer care number 9818-830-400/1800-208-8777 between 09:30 AM and 06:30 PM, on all days excluding National Holidays. However, Oxymoney reserves the right to forfeit the outstanding balances lying in Your PPI at the expiry of three years from the date of expiry of the validity period of PPI.
  10. But, before the expiry of validity period, You shall be cautioned in the following intervals (by SMS or email or phone call or by any other means);
  11. first caution notice, 45 days in advance prior to the expiry of validity period.
  12. After expiry of each validity period, the rules governing the extension of validity period and forfeiture shall be the same as mentioned above.
  13. Your PPI will be made inactive, in case there are no transactions for a consecutive period of 12 months. Such inactive PPI will be re-activated only after Re-KYC and applicable due diligence.
  14. You can approach to Oxymoney to close your account and withdraw the amount lying in your PPI. You need to raise a request to Oxymoney to transfer the amount in your bank account. Oxymoney shall verify your authenticity and amount shall be paid directly to your bank account. After payment of the same, Oxymoney shall close the account.
  1. Oxymoney provides interoperability through UPI for holders of full-KYC PPI. 
  2. Your correspondence or related activities with third parties, including payment transactions under the Services are solely between You and that third party. You agree that Oxymoney will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any of Your transactions with third parties.
  3. Refunds of amount loaded/reloaded in PPI Wallet/ Card, as the case may be, will be done in accordance with regulatory framework prevailing and as amended from time to time.
  4. Refunds in case of failed / returned / rejected / cancelled transactions shall be applied to the respective PPI immediately, to the extent that payment was made initially by debit to the PPI, even if such application of funds results in exceeding the limits prescribed for that type / category of PPI.
  5. However, refunds in case of failed / returned / rejected / cancelled transactions using any other payment instrument shall not be credited to PPI.
  6. Oxymoney shall not be liable/ responsible for any defect in the product/merchandise/goods/services purchased/availed from third parties through PPI Wallet/ Card.
  7. Oxymoney is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for non-provisioning of the Services due to GPRS/EDGE/3G/4G/5G failure/internet connectivity failure/download error.
  8. You understand and agree that password and other information with respect to your PPI Wallet/ Card are confidential information.
  9. You agree to immediately change the password on receipt and to continue changing the password periodically (recommended every 15 days).
  10. You agree that Oxymoney shall not be responsible if you share your password and other confidential information about Your PPI Wallet/ Card with any person or fail to abide by the advice given in these Terms about changing password periodically.
  11. You understand and agree that Your PPI Wallet/ Card is linked to your registered mobile number.
  12. Oxymoney will not be held liable for unauthorized use of Your PPI Wallet/ Card on account of loss/theft/misplacement of Mobile number and/or SIM, unless You have informed Oxymoney customer care about such loss/theft/misplacement and have blocked Your Wallet/ Card, temporarily till You reactivate the same using a new SIM with same mobile number. It must be noted that You shall continue to be held liable for any unauthorized use of Your PPI Wallet/ Card till You inform Oxymoney customer care about such loss/theft/misplacement and Your request for blocking Your PPI Wallet/ Card is executed.
  13. You agree and acknowledge that Oxymoney shall not be responsible for any use/misuse of PPI Wallet/ Card in any manner whatsoever.
  14. Oxymoney may amend the procedure and process of creation and operation of PPI Wallet/ Card in compliance with any laws or direction/order of any government/ statutory/regulatory authority and/or court, with or without intimation to the Customers.
  15. As of now Oxymoney is providing Services in the Territory only, therefore only individuals of 18 years or older and residing in India may enrol for the Services. Oxymoney reserves the right to prevent access to the Platform and the Services there under from mobile number or IP addresses outside of India.
  16. You agree and undertake that You shall not use or create fake ID or provide any fake/false profile information for availing the Services through the Platform.
  17. You agree to promptly notify Oxymoney of any change in Your mobile number or email address or any other details in Your personal profile by sending an e-mail to care@oxymoney.com
  18. Oxymoney will not be liable to pay any compensation if any error occurs due to any technical or manual fault at the end of the web server holder.
  19. You are solely responsible for Your device and the internet services that connect Your said device to the Platform.
  20. You agree and confirm that You shall not be entitled to opt out of receiving transactional messages pertaining to the Services.
  21. You agree and confirm to provide Oxymoney any and every detail Oxymoney requires to obtain from You, including such other personal or proprietary information relating to any of Your acts or omissions or violations of other persons who may be a party with You, on suspicion or otherwise in relation to the use of Platform.

Fees and Charges:

  1. You agree to pay all fees and charges which are specified for availing any Services. Unless otherwise noted, all currency references are in Indian Rupees.
  2. All taxes, levies, cesses or statutory claim for the charge or fee paid to Oxymoney shall be borne and paid by you, whether past, present or future, including penalties or claims of any nature whatsoever.
  3. The cost of connectivity including but not limited to voice calls, GPRS activation charges, internet charges and charges for sending/receiving SMS from designated numbers will be borne by You as per the charges specified by Your respective service providers.
  4. Oxymoney reserves its right, in its sole discretion and without any prior notice, to impose and/or revise charges/commissions in relation to the use of your PPI Wallet/ Card. The current charges for your PPI Wallet/ Card are provided on the Oxymoney Website – https://www.oxymoney.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Charges-Oxymoney.docx.pdf These charges are subject to change.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY ON LIMITED LIABILITY:

  1. Customers must take appropriate measures to safeguard their accounts by using OTP and M-PIN, which need to be changed at regular intervals. M-PIN  and OTP must not be shared with anyone including employees of Oxymoney. Oxymoney and its team members or any associated agents or merchants will never ask for such credentials.
  2. Customers must update their mobile numbers and email ids regularly with Oxymoney to keep the information up to date and receive ongoing alerts.
  3. Customers must mandatorily register for SMS alerts and e-mail alerts (wherever applicable) for electronic payment transactions.
  4. Customers need to monitor transactions regularly, either from the SMS alerts or through the mobile APP to identify any unauthorized transaction.
  5. It is the responsibility of the customer to promptly report any unauthorized/suspicious transaction on the account to Oxymoney, ensuring that there is no delay in reporting.
  6. Unless otherwise indicated all our offers validity, usage, eligibility, availability and or otherwise are subject to Terms and Conditions and may be available at select participating stores and / or merchants only. Be certain to read the terms and conditions for each offer before use.
  7. In relation to some of our Offers and or Promotions, certain release requirements or, where appropriate, withdrawal and or earning restrictions must be satisfied, in addition to the general eligibility criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.

LIMITED LIABILITY OF A PPI CUSTOMER:

Customer liability arising out of an unauthorized electronic payment transaction will be limited to:

In case of contributory fraud/ negligence/ deficiency on the part of Oxymoney (irrespective of whether or not the transaction is reported by the Customers). Zero liability
Third party breach where the deficiency lies neither with the Oxymoney nor with the Customer but lies elsewhere in the system, and the Customer notifies the Oxymoney regarding the unauthorised payment transaction. The per transaction customer liability in such cases will depend on the number of days lapsed between the receipt of transaction communication by the Customer from Oxymoney and the reporting of unauthorised transaction by the Customer to Oxymoney –
i. Within three days* Zero Liability
ii. Within four to seven days* Transaction value or Rs. 10,000 per transaction, whichever is lower.
iii. Beyond seven days* Transaction Value
In cases where the loss is due to negligence by a Customer, such as where he has shared the payment/login credentials, the Customer will bear the entire loss until he/she reports the unauthorized transaction to Oxymoney. Note: Any loss occurring after the reporting of the unauthorized transaction shall be borne by Oxymoney. Case to case basis
Note: Oxymoney may also, at its discretion, decide to waive off any Customer liability in case of unauthorised electronic payment transactions even in cases of customer negligence.

Note: Oxymoney is also guided by the following DPSS circulars:

  • Harmonisation of Turn Around Time (TAT) and customer compensation for failed transactions using authorised Payment Systems issued vide DPSS circular DPSS.CO.PD No.629/02.01.014/2019-20 dated September 20, 2019 (as amended from time to time);
  • Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) system for resolving customer disputes and grievances pertaining to digital payments, using a system-driven and rule-based mechanism with zero or minimal manual intervention, issued vide DPSS circular DPSS.CO.PD No.116/02.12.004/2020-21 dated August 6, 2020 (as amended from time to time).

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

    1. Customer protection, reporting and resolution of issues reported by the Customers using PPI Wallet/ Card, shall be done by Oxymoney in accordance with its Grievance Redressal Policy (“Grievance Redressal”) available on the Oxymoney’s Platform.
  • Compensation for failed transactions shall be made to the Customers as per the provision of the PPI Master Directions and vide DPSS circular DPSS.CO.PD No.629/02.01.014/2019-20 dated September 20, 2019 (as amended from time to time), for “Harmonisation of Turn Around Time (TAT) and customer compensation for failed transactions using authorised Payment Systems.”

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. In order to access and use the Services, You are required to have a mobile, computer or laptop or any compatible device with internet connectivity.
  2. It is Your responsibility to ensure Your device meets all the necessary technical specifications to enable You to access and use the Services.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  1. Except as otherwise described, all content availed by the use of this Website/interface are made available only to facilitate the users. Oxymoney controls and operates the Website and Services and makes no representation that the contents and Services are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you use the Services from a location other than the location where the Website and Services are controlled and operated, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
  2. These Terms shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes relating to these Terms shall be settled in the courts located at New Delhi, India.
